Rita Poutivskaia was born and raised in a small town outside of Moscow, Russia. She moved to the United States with her family in late 2000.

Rita graduated from Laguna College of Art and Design in May 2011, receviving a BFA in Illustration and a minor in Graphic Design. She lives and designs in the Bay Area.

In her work, Rita uses various media from traditional to digital to express universal emotions and situations in life. She wants to create a world of lightheartedness and naivity that a child’s memory has about it.
